| All students at St. Maria Goretti High School are enrolled in a traditional college preparatory program. In addition to the regular college preparatory curriculum, courses are also offered at the Honors and Advanced Placement levels. Students are placed in courses according to their ability, level of achievement and interest. The high school college preparatory program consists of four years of Religion, English, Math and a minimum of three years of Science and Social Studies, and two years study of a foreign language. Students are also required to earn 2 credits in Physical Education/Health and one credit in the Fine Arts. Twenty- Seven credits are required for graduation, 23 taken in core courses and 4 taken from a variety of electives that are offered by all academic departments. Honors level courses are offered in English, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics and Foreign Languages. Advanced Placement Courses are offered in English, U.S. History, American Government, Calculus, Chemistry and Spanish.
In addition to the academic requirements for graduation, all students are required to complete 100 hours (25 hours per year) in the Community Service Program.
