We share with you a unique partnership as we work together to give your son/daughter an outstanding education in the tradition of St. Maria Goretti High School. In our educational philosophy the Goretti faculty has always emphasized the primacy of the student. Your son's/daughter's education is as important to us as it is to you. Our commitment to rigorous intellectual development is matched by our attention to the personal formation of all the young men and women entrusted to our care.

With you, our parents, we aspire to the highest ideals as we convey values by the way we live in the ordinary and unspectacular daily events where God waits for us. In recent months, we at St. Maria Goretti High School have been focusing some of our energies on enhancing volunteer programs at the school. As a result of these planning sessions we developed a plan to involve more parent volunteers in the life of the school.

Enclosed is our "Parents in Partnership" Program. In this document you will find a list of programs, activities, and events at St. Maria Goretti that depend on volunteer support. Please review "Parents in Partnership" carefully. We are counting on your volunteer participation in one or more of these areas for the coming school year.

Your volunteer support of the St. Maria Goretti High School demonstrates the importance of community service to your teen. As a student of St. Maria Goretti High School your son/daughter is required to give 25 hours per year of community service. Most importantly, your participation in any of these areas can truly make a difference in the life of St. Maria Goretti High School and your son's/daughter's high school education.
